Refresh Your Mind: Effective Treadmill Workouts for Stress Relief
Running is a fantastic way to relieve stress. After a busy workday, taking some time to run and stretch can feel like hitting a reset button on your body and mind.
Today, I’m sharing two treadmill workouts that make me sweat and feel great:
Variable Speed Fat-Burning Run:
- Warm-up: Walk at speed 5 for 5 minutes
-
Main Run:
- Speed 6-7 for 3 minutes
- Speed 8-10 for 2 minutes
- Speed 5 for 2 minutes
- Repeat the 7-minute cycle (slow run + fast run + brisk walk) 4-6 times
Steady Pace Run:
- Warm-up: Walk at an incline of 3 and speed 4 for 5 minutes
- Main Run: Choose a speed where you feel slightly out of breath, typically speed 8-10, and maintain it for 30 minutes
Running Tips:
- Pay attention to your running form
- Warm up before and stretch after running
- Wear the right gear
- Gradually increase speed to avoid running too fast
Running correctly can help you healthily lose weight and burn fat. If you’re too busy to hit the gym, I highly recommend getting a treadmill at home.
A foldable treadmill is an excellent choice. Its sleek and practical design is perfect for home workouts. It offers great stability and doesn’t wobble while running. Plus, it’s quiet enough that you won’t feel like you’re shaking the entire building.
This treadmill doesn’t take up much space and can be easily folded. It comes with a large screen that tracks your calorie burn and features popular video and music apps. Listening to my favorite music while running has become my daily stress-relief routine.
The treadmill’s width is ample, and it features good shock absorption and soundproofing. You can also follow training programs on the screen to make your workouts more structured and effective.
