Hold the dumbbell with both hands, elbows bent, and let the ends of the dumbbell rest against your body. Perform a squat, keeping your torso upright and core engaged to build lower body strength.

Exercise 2: Dumbbell Clean and Press

Flip your wrists so they face forward, bringing the dumbbells to your shoulders. Perform a small jump, slowly straightening your legs to stand. Lower the weights to your thighs, squat down, and repeat the movement.

Exercise 3: Dumbbell Deadlift

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, toes pointing straight ahead. Keep your core tight and back straight as you lift the dumbbells from the floor to thigh height, then lower them back down and repeat.

Exercise 4: Bent Over Row

With your core engaged and back straight, bend over slightly and row the dumbbells to your chest. Lower and repeat to strengthen your back muscles.

Exercise 5: Single Arm Dumbbell Swing

Perform a squat, swinging the dumbbell between your legs, then quickly stand up, swinging the dumbbell to head height. Repeat and switch arms to work on both sides.

Exercise 6: Step-Up with Press

Hold a dumbbell in your right hand at shoulder height, and place your right foot on a bench. Step up, driving through your right foot, and press the dumbbell overhead until your arm is straight. Pause, then return to the starting position.
